Juan Abad is a well-known mamamahayag and mandudula. It was born on November 8, 1872, in Sampaloc, Maynila, to Ambrosio Abad, a bookbinder, and Bonifacia Domingo. Because to his patriotic dulas Ang Tanikalang Guinto and Isang Punglo ng Kaaway, he has achieved great success in the Phillippine Theatre.
