Patron, a prolific writer and local publishing icon, was a writer and columnist for Liwayway Magazine’s movie and women’s pages. Throughout her writing career, she had the opportunity to speak with some of Hollywood’s brightest stars, including American actor Jeffrey Hunter, who played Christopher Pike in Star Trek’s pilot episode in 1965, and Paul Anka, the American singer behind the songs “Diana,” “Lonely Boy,” and “Put Your Head On My Shoulder.”
