Philippine Stagers Foundation’s Obra Ni Juan

The Obra Ni Juan play by the Philippine Stagers Foundation tells the story of Juan Luna, a famous yet underappreciated Filipino hero who traveled the world as an artist alongside other “Illustados” in Europe. Juan Luna’s associations with numerous historical characters, like Trinidad Pardo de Tavera and Marcelo Del Pilar, as well as his special bond with Jose Rizal and his adored brother Antonio Luna, will be highlighted in the play.
